Then a final time skip happens 9 chapters before the finale of FOUR YEARS finally getting her to 18 years old. You will spend most of the time looking at three dudes romance her with the thought of "she's 14. Her dad is protecting her well but I sure wish he was more definitive." Or you'd be a weeb and think he needs to stop so she can get romanced directly which... eww...
Also, chapter 207 is the epilogue and chapter 206 is the finale.
That annoying detail aside, this entire work's strength can be described in one word: CUTE!

It has an interesting start and some well written characters, interesting lore and all that jazz. There are a few problems:
1) The Emperor isn't written. Think of evil qualities and throw them at him and that's literally all he is: an embodiment of all that is wrong with the world with no rhyme or reason behind it.
2) and this one is more important: the pace is super slow. Anything that can be done in two panels is done in two chapters. I'm not hyperbolizing for the funny but I'm dead serious: the pacing is super slow. I was tempted to say "languid" to avoid saying "slow" as some people take offense to that (I dunno why) but it isn't just languid, but even slower than that -> hence "super slow."
This is made super apparent when the pace picks up from super slow to "normal pace" for the last few chapters and I'm like "oh my god, they had a normal conversation for once."
3) The art is nice and cute and all, but it cannot do action. The important parts of action are kinda communicated, but aren't properly shown. This is mostly fine on the basis that there is almost no action anyway. 99% of what happens is talking and being cute.
To reiterate on number 2, if it was all on a normal pace, forget 200 chapters, this would've been over from start to finish in about 50. Not much happens overall.
So uh... if you're good on the super slow pace and you're here for the cute, then 8/10.
Else, 5/10. Maybe 4/10.
I feel like if you skip from chapter ~6 or something down to chapter 196, you won't really miss anything... I already read it all so I can't verify if it is true or not, but if it is, then maybe 2/10. As you can see, I'm not the target audience for this but the first few chapters were good.
Me? Aww-butz, with emphasis on the "but." heh

INDESTRUCTIBLE!
Well, to be fair, you aren't enemies. Sure, you weren't allies or something, but you never had a reason to want to murder each other, right?
I could be entirely wrong lol
The consistent attempts to woo Ms. Main Character started off pretty creepy and still are, to an extent.
October of 2015, China declared that all couples can have two children -> so we're at the Two Child Policy.
Like... this is the "official" side of things. Unofficially, some provinces were like "we're cool with you having two kids, especially if your first one is a girl."
And now, unofficially, there is at least one province in China are sick of all this control and just let couples have any many kids as they want.
I randomly see this update, remember "oh, I read this." -> look at the update, have no idea what's going on... aaaaaaaaaaand repeat it next time I randomly see it update.
I dunno what the deal is with the sporadic updates for this manga, but you can see the release date for every chapter and it has no consistency.
I very much intend to wait until it is complete before I touch it again.
Is it worth reading? Uh... it's been too long for me to give you any proper explanation, but I do remember enjoying reading it... I also remember that it went off the deep end at one point, so there's that.
This is all just part of the pain of reading an incomplete work. If this was complete, you wouldn't complain and just go to the next chapter.
No doubt about it. I do sincerely believe this manhwa could've ended in around 10 more chapters assuming the author wasn't going to draaaaaaag it out. Seeing how the progression of the manhwa, he really wasn't gonna drag it out... shame. /shrug
Thoughts? Great art; interesting premise; unique details (namely the
Overall plot is decent but it seems to bend backwards to fit in an awkward frame of sorts. First of all, it awkwardly stretches itself in an angle to be an isekai. Then it bends its legs awkwardly to be video game-based and while holding up a middle finger to base itself in DLC. I wish I wasn't making that up, lol.
Funny enough, if it ditched all that and just had this story:
"This is a fantasy world that is in danger of destruction due to an evil god! I'm just some guy... at least, I think I am. I've been reliving this stretch of my life time and time again, always failing somewhere, always dying, and always trying new methods to get stronger... only to fail every time. Now! At the end of chapter 1, I have managed to gain the power of collecting my past lives' corpses to become more powerful than ever! I must succeed this time!"
If nothing else was changed other than this, the rest of the plot would not have been impacted whatsoever - and I mean plot developments. If anything, the quality would've gone up.
That aside, another issue is the premise that other details are kinda flimsy. The author pulled a sneaky by surprising us with a "aha! You thought I forgot the second corpse when he absorbed two corpses at the same time, huh? Here's what he got from the second corpse!" Lame, but fine. Okay, what about these corpses that also seemed to be skipped? ... well?
So yeah... it probably would've been sitting at around a 6/10 overall, but due to the ax, it gets half off its points: 3/10.
If you want a sort of "I gain abilities from things I kill" sort of thing, then check out the "Skeleton Soldier Couldn't Protect The Dungeon" I guess.
1) Mr. Main Character finds the Dragon - he has that dragon slayer title, so he has some advantages in the fight against her
2) Mr. Main Character kills the Dragon and takes like 10 corpses from her
3) "Evil God" descends because uhh... I dunno, dragon's last words or whatever push this event to happen right now
4) Mr. Main Character kills it
5) ???
6) Profit.

that she really is just interested in the premise of "safety first!"
She would be a good leader if this manhwa wasn't going at the pace of "STEP ON THE GAS! FASTER!!! FASTER!!!" in terms of moving the plot along. Mr. Main Character's "rest periods" during his entire journey is mainly during travel, which isn't a rest period at all. Otherwise, it is when he loses consciousness after a big battle which is also not a proper rest period.
