Okay here's my prediction, they get Rin out, she still has the syringe with the talent suppressant in it (this series loves Chekhov's gun), at some point they will run into Nakajima who will have another episode unintentionally frying brains, Rin will shapeshift into Nakajima, nullify the brainwaves, and then inject him with the suppressant, and the monster face that was an illusion due to his fear and self loathing will disappear. With Tsuruoka's bullshit gone, Nana will then be able to have a proper conversation with Nakajima.
