At least this is a world with healing potions and hopefully de-cursers, Christ.

There are no sources that indicate that she went with Hades willingly:
"He caught her up reluctant on his golden car and bare her away lamenting. Then she cried out shrilly with her voice, calling upon her father [Zeus], the Son of Kronos, who is most high and excellent." ~ Homeric Hymn 2 to Demeter.
"Kore, the daughter of Demeter, was carried off when she was playing and gathering flowers, and that the flowers by which she was deceived into being carried off were not violets, but the narcissus." ~ Pausanias, Description of Greece.
"Here Proserpina was playing in a glade and picking flowers, pansies and lilies, with a child's delight, filling her basket and her lap to gather more than the other girls, when, in a trice, Dis [Haides] saw her, loved her, carried her away--love leapt in such a hurry! Terrified, in tears, the goddess called her mother, called her comrades too, but oftenest her mother; and, as she'd torn the shoulder of her dress, the folds slipped down and out the flowers fell, and she, in innocent simplicity, grieved in her girlish heart for their loss too." ~ Ovid, Metamorphoses.
"Her uncle sees her and swiftly abducts what he sees her and swiftly abducts what he sees, and bears her to his realm on black horses. She screamed, ‘Oh, dearest mother, I'm being taken!’" ~ Ovid, Fasti.

I'm hoping for madhouse cuz that way there's better chance for the art style to be more or less maintained when animated, like they did with Hellsing and one punch man.

Yeah in this context rape means abduction, but in Homeric Hymn to Demeter 1–86, it's clear that zeus was asked and Gaia helped him, but neither Persephone or demeter were aware of this deal. When I said rape I didn't mean the kidnapping I meant what was likely to happen after the abduction, that's why I clarified Potential rapist, because whether or not Persephone comes around to him is the part that's up for debate. Like the practice that word refers to in context alludes to Marriage by abduction, in which a man abducts and (most often) raped a woman to make her his bride. Best case he kidnapped her and then talked her into marriage but the elopement thing does not come up at all in early tellings of the story because the agency of the woman wasn't really very important in a lot of those stories.

True yes but I don't think I've ever encountered a chuunibyo character that was actually supposed to be Christian, like usually they're generic Japanese person with either vague Shinto or not really any expressed religious belief and the chuunibyo is a phase they grow out of, unless there's a reason not to have baked into the premise.

Wait but if that's the case the whole premise of this series makes no sense.

I thought I remembered Hephaestus imprisoning somebody's love child or something so that was on me, but Hades is absolutely a kidnapper - most retellings agree that he did outright kidnap perse phone, the reason I said potential rapist was because whether or not he actually romanced her after the fact or just raped her is the part that changes depending on the telling, either way though he does a kidnap her and then trick her into eating the food of the Dead, that whole situation being purely consensual is kind of a modern retelling mostly thing because if you're trying to find a romantic relationship in Greek mythology that's one of the closest you get without grabbing one of the gods people care less about and all things considered Hades is absolutely the most neutral major God out of the big three like he pulls the least bullshit and other than the occasional kidnapping he mostly just minds his business unless you cross him.

The answer is no so long as no one knows about it and no one brings attention to it ( including the author), the moment either of those things happen though it becomes yes. A Schrodinger's homo so to speak. Only able to exist once observed, especially in this case because once observed it's gay in two separate directions, if he goes after men in his current body it's gay internally, but if he goes after women it's gay externally. Isn't Physics Fascinating.

Also this chapter absolutely has over 30 panels and is listed as 33 pages but webtoon pages are kind of counted weird so, I think the main difference is for a lot of the fight focused chapters there's very little dialogue so it does feel much shorter, I don't think the length actually shortened that much if at all. Edit: yeah I just jumped around to a couple other chapters and while the first ten chapters had more pages than this one, after that the chapter length kind of ranges from shorter than this chapter to longer than this chapter and it kind of is just based on how fight heavy the chapter is, dialogue heavy chapters are longer- combat heavy chapters are shorter. That and regardless combat heavy chapters would feel shorter since you wouldn't have to stop to read as often.

Oh no I didn't ask you to name three, that was a different guy, though I will say moonshadow sword emperor is your best argument here, it is another series with a fully unique art style that features a lot of fights and updates regularly, I will say though the art on Northern blade is of a somewhat higher quality than it still.

I would counter that at least three of those have a studio style, meaning you can get more people doing the same art style cuz it's kind of been laid to a formula with specific ways to do anatomy, separate people to do individual parts of the work like one team is just doing line work a separate teams just doing shading, like efficient s***, while this one has a unique art style that would require people to be familiar with it before they can properly replicate it, meaning you have to spend more time training an individual assistant or if you were a solo artist you'd have to spend more time getting it just right. It's like the difference between that factory Disney style and like akira toriyama's specific art style. That and frankly I'd rather have shorter chapters if it means the artist doesn't die abruptly or encounter health problems due to overwork(or quit and get replaced by somebody worse).

I think it's because for Zeus the two options are "lean into the way he's portrayed in various somewhat well-known tales" which is, let's say, not favorable. Or "portray him as generic leader of a group of gods" like a lot of things portray Odin or just like any given leader of a group of superpowered people, and given those two options I'd absolutely go for " can I f*** this River? Can I f*** that tree around the river? it used to be a woman... I hope Hera doesn't find out" ass Zeus. he's more fun to work with, and people have become kind of familiar with him being that way.

It's honestly because even in the source materials the Greek gods are, out of so many pantheons, incredibly Petty and vicious and spiteful.Unless you're Hades or Hephaestus who are a kidnapper- at worst potential rapist, or a man who got cucked that maybe got justifiably angry but did not react appropriately. Like genuinely the closest allegory I have are superheroes in The Boys. And the cream of the crop as far as that goes is Zeus "shapeshifting rapist" of Olympus.

I'd honestly say one kratos is plenty, I'm feeling like if you send two, you're not going to have a tower anymore. It's like sending a doom Slayer when a doom guy will do.

Not following what the author wants? But you get Oda had to approve this for it to go through right? Like they asked him s*** about it and everything it's one of the reasons he's so vocal about why he likes the casting. And hell all of luffy's crew are literally from vastly different locations across the globe of their world it would track for them to be different races of origin.
