Well i would guess since they went back in time... and the creator didn t want to go throu the story timeline "again" since they already did everything... they kinda skipped it and just showed the difference... like ryu getting stabed instead of leonhard etc. Etc... otherwise it would be just the same story all over again with maybe small differences
