It's crazy that they skipped out all of this from all the other adaptations.
Main manga doesn't cover it, anime skips right past it after him joining that adventure group & saving the girl, the VN skips it too.

Not surprising given how off course it was getting compared to the light novel. A ton missing subplots by the end, and noteable changes to the story, makes you wonder where they were possibly going to take this if they continued it.

given how slow this is going I'm considering switching to the LN but last version of it I found had translation that were so god awfully shit I found reading it unbearable so not sure if it'll be worth the effort

Basically the exact same as the elementary course except that everyone has their level and skills decently higher than average but not by any insane amount.
There is also a city of angles in the world floating in the sky, but that was added in the entrance exam, and multiple heroes get summoned for it, rather just having one per classroom like the elementary school had but he basically ends up taking the main role since they're all really bad F class students.
t takes place a few years earlier than the start of the timeline in the elementary course too as well iirc
In the LN two big things end up happening during his secondary education course that kinda throws everything out of wack and changes what he is doing there, so it doesn't end up feeling like a total repeat of the previous stuff, but I wont spoil.

The entrance exam was far different though since it was about the 5 disasters and beating them and not the demon lord and everyone's level and skills were busted

there is no middle school
its just elementary and secondary, followed by higher education.
he does go through a lengthy entrance exam for the secondary education in the LN, but no clue if they will include that in this adaptation

I'm doubting it
given how much this has begun to diverge from the LN, they're probbaly have rework a lot of the story from this point on for it to make sense, which might be why its taking so long to continue

Does it really matter if she found meaning there?
She was only able to because she was mentally reset to like 12 with her memory loss, and it doesn't make sense that her with memories would find meaning waiting at tables in a pervy outfit for what is likely subpar pay if she is even getting any, especially given the life she was clearly living before not to mention her clear sadistic tendencies and short temper.
And we haven't even seen her interacting with her brother at all while she is there.
The note was probably just telling her to go meet him, ergo he must of known before hand otherwise he'd either be meeting her without memories or he'd wouldn't of met her due to her not responding to the message.
And if it was mentioned that there were multiple chips, I have long since forgotten it tbh, been awhile since I actually started this story.

So super psycho chick regained her memories rather quickly and out of nowhere and didn't immediately kick shit off with cassian or with the bar lady for dressing her up in a maid outfit.

And driver has a second completely different platinum chip to the one cassian got from money king? I thought there was just the one

at this point I have no idea if the author is just incredibly uneducated or if the translators are screwing things up and not bothering to proof read their translations
because I could totally believe referring the moon as a planet could of just been a translation error if the original word was something more akin to celestial body or something
but there have been so many weird gaffs in this story that it can't just be the fault of the translators

was waiting till this had a good amount of chapters before picking it up, but there has been nothing in nearly a year now and only 16 chapters released.

So in the LN he doesn't actually go back to earth using that device
He sends an elf in his stead since he suspected the device would use up all his experience and skills, which it does to the elf. She becomes level 1 with no skills and had the unemployed job
Kinda weird they cut out the whole subplot regarding the knight elves and his collecting them tbh

the source material is long since completed so what is slowing down the chapter releases for this manga so damn much that we've haven't even gotten 20 chapters yet over 2+ years?
Hell the last 3 chapters were released over a single year, compared to 13 being released over the course of the previous year, so is it just that translators are being slow with it or something?

It bothers me so much the anime rushed right through this arc and left this part out to get to the magic school part of the story.
Given the main manga skipped this and the release for this spin off has been painfully slow I was hoping it would cover it, but alas the anime's second season has had terrible pacing compared to the first
