They seem to refer to the first hero and the fantasy god as the same person here as far as I can tell.
Since they are talking about 1 one minute and the other the next while still referring to a guy who wants the MC to surrender

Well its nice to have confirmation that this is based on a LN, would love to be able to read it since this feels like such a poor adaptation of the work, with so many crucial details clearly missing or glossed over.

Its funny to think in hindsight that the slime dude is actually his brother, lol.

this here is just awkward, dude was drunk and was talking about something in a larger context trying to make himself feel better and all the girl hears is this specific part and it ruins everything

pretty sure the LN got axed about this point which is why the manga ends here like it does.
