I read till chapter 77

Didn't really like it. It was promising at the start but slowly got less interesting and more annoying. The MC feels too impulsive and childish at times. The overall storytelling felt pretty subpar. I guess if you have nothing else to read, you can give it a try.

This guy is seriously starting to piss me off. These fanatics have strange powers strong enough to bring the empire to ruin and you've been fighting against them for 2 lifetimes now, how can you still be surprised by basic things like self destruction?

I don't really like how the MC has been acting. It's like 0% brainpower and 100% aggression. Against people that are stronger than you, that kind of approach just looks silly.

MC really starting to act like a kid. No planning, no strategy, just running head first into every fight.

Dragged this fight out for way too long. Spent almost 2 entire chapters saying they'll "finish it with the next attack".

I have a bad feeling about removing this curse so willy-nilly.

I think MC ranked 1st in the practical exam, which is why future sword saint is mad but because MC did really bad in the theory exam they gave him the 2nd rank overall.

I read till chapter 99,

MC needs to pour his heart and soul for every little bit of strength he gets, which felt very refreshing. The plot is also very intriguing and there's quite a few interesting details surrounding his regression, his life after regression and how he has a certain "fate". The comedy is pretty good and the world building also felt pretty solid.

I was getting tired of OP/unbelievably-talented MCs lately as that's basically 99% of martial arts manhwa/manhua, so I personally really enjoyed this. I wouldn't say it's perfect, because nothing is, but overall this was a good read.
