NTR! the mc get's cucked by her own friend. Literally, unironically. Allbeit, her friend was in some sort of relationship with the guy before even meeting her, and before mc realizes she has a crush on him. hence the "It's quiet late" almost too late, even.

We've had a sub-ark that took place only 1 day in-story, and it went on for TWENTY FOUR CHAPTERS, OVER LIKE 2-3 MONTHS, after which we currently are in a different sub ark/final of the overall ark that's taking 28+ chapters (we don't know if nr 28 will even end it, we were already baited in 26 and 27) AND IT ALSO ONLY TOOK 1 DAY IN-STORY
This story has been taking EIGHT (8) YEARS AND ALMOST NO PROGRESS HAS BEEN MADE.

So this ark, that's ..... what? 7 days long at most story-wise ? took ALMOST A YEAR IRL TIME ???? What's this, like 1 (in story) hour per chapter or something ????

I'd unironically love it turning into NTR at this point, simply due to sheer hate.
