so, random question, if ghouls can only get hurt with Kagune's, how was the first ghoul killed? How did they make the first quinques? if they need them to kill ghouls, but they also come from ghouls, how does that work?

The moment it stopped being just a killer on each floor type story, it really lost me. Whenever the existence of God becomes a vital part of a story's themes, it usually falls into themes of nihilism and stuff, which I really, really don't like. It usually comes off as pretentious and artificial. And I'm not gonna lie, this wasn't very different for me. Strong starting half, confusing second half and I'm a bit conflicted on how to rate it, tbh. Guess I was just hoping to get a bit more enjoyment from this.
