This isn't a fight where they can or could afford to leave knights alive for the sake of ransom. That's really only feasible in a situation where you have overwhelming superiority on the enemy, as otherwise you're risking having the captive breaking out or being freed and once again being a problem on the battlefield.

I forget if they had them or not, should probably do a reread. I assume until that happens, we won't get to see another level to the transformations.

Lmfao, of course the corrupted La Veritas wasn't purified, can't have it be too easy. Now I kinda want to see what a corrupted La Veritas would look like for the other 2 Meguca's, though I doubt the chances of that happening are high. I am unsure how they'll manage to save Veradin when he's clearly been mindwiped and brainwashed to the point that tidbit we saw may as well have been any other Zipple member that we've seen before. Like that's not even Veradin anymore.

Man the artist has been serving us some fine food with the Ginko art in the last 2 to 3 chapters. And soon we get to eat some great combat too! Love me a manga that know how to cook with all its aspects

Its not actually the art that made me think that, though I do personally think the old style was better. The characters just feel dumber all around, and like the plot is kinda being rushed through despite this arc barely getting started. I know the story was never a masterpiece, but it definitely was better than how it felt in the last few chapters
