Author is a scumbag who enjoys disgusting shit like this. Why else would it be included when the author could write the scenes differently? It's not like author is going for a realistic approach, since a realistic approach to knowing that Amy is taking the destructive reverse-harem route (that will harm his family and Anastasia), is to just kill her (he has invis ffs), especially since MC should be stronger than her at this point.

Annoyed that he let the bandits go. He didn't have to kill them, but instead maim/immobilise them. Honestly MC's who bitch about killing humans, clearly haven't realised that some humans are worse than monsters. Hope he learns from this (without anything bad happening to Carlin) and never makes this mistake again. Better he learns now while I don't care about any of the side characters, compared to the consequences affecting someone I'm invested in.

At least the MC knows that using guns and concealment would make him stand out. It seems like he did have a plan to build up his other skills, but was caught by surprise here.

I've actually enjoyed the finance plays and the build up to the invasion, gives this story a twist of uniqueness. I'm looking forward to the action and adventure of the next arc, though I hope the story wont devolve into a generic dungeon manhwa.

A dumb complaint from me, but I wish mangakatana had a feature where you could request the replacement of chapters like this one if higher quality raws/ translations have been released.
