People are having their life-long works being stolen by AI right now, at this exact moment, they are not even trying to hide that money and influence is king. Theres a lot of other things just like that happening that I cant remember rn and the people with money and influence dictate what happens while we dont have a choice, so what would make you think that people with money and influence would not put their interests first and make DAMN SURE that even if they kill a whole guild IRL they wont lose even a cent. And with bots and gullible kids/adolescents being on the internet eager to defend their idols it makes it even more of a shitshow.

This is what I dislike most in VRMMORPG stories, the whole friggin world is against the MC because they are bastards with a lot of money and few times the MC will have allies that give him info. That's why Ranker's Return is the best VRMMORPG manga out now.

Would you say he is the type of protagonist to have mercy towards antagonists that cross the line? Nothing I hate more when the villain does something fucked up and his punishment is a light beating and the MC even feels bad after it.

I have trauma from protagonists being set for their whole life but deciding it just isnt enough. Like, my dude, you're living the dream rn theres no need to go out there looking for trouble, worst of all is when author makes trouble follow the MC and they dont want any part of that, but they dont have a choice.
