I feel so fucking bad for him, he tried his best for his family but all they did was complain. He worked so hard to be a good son and big brother, disregarding himself and only caring about them. Now that he thinks he found a woman he can trust, he gets fooled her that exact woman. He doesn’t believe his family when they voice concerns because he is tired and just wants them to trust his decisions as well. He doesn’t want to have the weird relationship with the step-daughter, he just wants to live a happy life and have children of his own if possible. He doesn’t rush at all tho, but knowing he‘s had it so hard and now he foolishly trusts in a woman who has completely different plans with him is just sad. Idc if it all explodes and they break apart or sth, I just wants him to not live happily ever after with that woman and her daughter. Lets just give him a hard time for a bit and hope he gets better, I mean he still has his family who are there for him, but as he believes he has to replace his dad (for his sister and mother) he‘s forcing himself to keep quiet about his issues.

I can‘t hate yurika as much as y‘all do, like imagine being her for a second. Of course she is desperate in a situation like this, her own mother, the only adult she should be able to completely trust is saying that she‘d rather have someone else as her daughter. Yurika (probably) tries so hard but gets beaten by someone with more talent, obviously she‘d be envious. Her mother casually saying that she‘d rather have touko as a daughter is just making it worse. I‘d say trying to make touko lose face or seem worse is just a survival instinct. Hating her is just ignorant, hate the mother instead.
