42 chapters in now. I’ve seen lots of silly complaints about the art. It’s a lil old fashioned, sure, like someone has traditional media skills instead of modern flashy Photoshop ai-assisted glop.

The story is funny if you’re a real gamer. Lots of old MMO gags that the mobile gaming kiddos won’t even notice, much less get.

MC is taking his sweet time figuring out even the basics of mage craft, but that makes sense because he didn’t want to play a mage to begin with. Of course it’s gonna grow on him slowly as he realizes how to weave it into his martial arts.

The only really valid complaint I’ve seen is that the translation randomly goes from “eh” to trash every so often. Google could do better… nowadays. Pretty sure they used an early version of it. 🤣
