I mean Suzuka here is just a ghost from this world. Aside from that encounter with Riz, she never felt any magic in her life, even as a ghost. So it is crazy that she, a resident of this world who never knew or used magic in her entire life, even the part when she died and became a ghost, is actually using magic right now. It is not a big deal for Riz and the others cuz they have connection to the other world, but she didn't and yet she is doing it, which is pretty crazy. Same level as cavemen discovering fire you know, it is small for someone who already knew it but big for the one seeing it for the first time.

Honestly I saw this happening quite several times already but I always never catched it until the reveal. It is really neat I guess. I always have a liking for big hunky yakuza/mafia guy, they are really cool(and evil too yeah yeah I know). That gentleman guy reminds me of Armstrong in the hack and slash metal gear game. A maniac with both brain and brawn. Luckily our cute saintess here is kinda OP in the brawn department so unless he baited her with food he ain't winning.
