The art's a little... I mean, it's fine, just a bit rough for a professional manga. Postures are a little stiff and proportions are a little inconsistent.

So found the novel and this played out a lot different. I think the manga did it better too. Squad actually had screen time and badass moments, and it's a nice preamble into the next arc.
