I’ll try to explain the reasoning for them calling him holy demon.

It’s waaay back when westerners taught the Chinese English. Those westerner were crusaders on a “Holy mission” of raping and pillaging the east. Going out for “Gold, God, and Glory”. Spreading their seeds to convert villages into Christianity.

Anyway those people, told them that anything that the westerners didn’t understand was demonic. So Eastern medicine, science, religion/magic, all demonic. And so anything unnatural, unorthodox, and or magical was called demonic. Shoot, they even called women who could read witches or possessed by demons.

As far as holy is concerned:
we told them “Jesus is Holy”
That made them think “oh! So Buddha is holy!!!”
“Nah Buddha isn’t holy just Jesus”
“Well why? What’s different between your god who escaped the flesh and ours who escaped the cycle of reincarnation?”
“Well uhhh… the pope! The pope is holy and we believe everything he says!!!”

Just going to add my two cents and explain the MAIN reason why they’d be different.
Sword techniques are mostly stab, thrust, and block. Blade techniques are slashes and parries.

They’re not going to make a whole clan that utilizes EVERY BLADED weapon in the book. But focus upon the techniques for them. Because they usually practice the techniques of the founder of that clan. And one man can’t make and master techniques for every weapon well as long as they don’t have nano LMAO.

Anyway, axe technique won’t be found in the blade clan just because balance and method of use is so different.
