Okay, this manga pisses me off. I feel deceived and lied to. The title, description and genre tags all seem to suggest that this is going to be an action manga, right? Wrong. It's just politics and economics. Sure, the MC is a 5 year old girl so it'll be hard for her to simply let loose and murder people all the time, but come on!

Before I started reading I was given false expectations for what this manga is about. There's literally probably less than 30 panels in total of fighting in almost 40 chapters, and I've given up on being patient and waiting for her to live up to her name as the "Merciless Maiden". It's good if you like politics mangas, but if you came for action then you're in the wrong place.

Only 6 chapters out right now, but I'm giving my review for the current story.

First of all, let's address the gender bender tag and the general story. Spoilers: The MC is the mage of the hero party which defeated the demon lord, but he dies in the final battle while saving the hero. He then gets reborn as the descendant of the hero who formed his own country after the battle against the demon lord. However, he is born as a woman and everyone around her is against the idea of her training her body. She still tries training in secret despite this and is overpowered, always surprising everyone with her strength.

The manga is mostly a comedy, and I think it's pretty funny overall. As for stuff like romance regarding the gender bender aspect (yuri or no yuri, etc.) I'd say there's a slight yuri vibe to it for now. There are no male characters that feel like candidates for romantic partner to the MC. She does, however, have a maid which often mistakes the MC's actions for wanting intense lesbian love-making and she also points out that there's a tradition amongst the royal family of same-sex relationships. The MC does not address her personal feelings on love yet, though, so there's no real guarantee on how the story will go in the romance aspect.

Overall, it's a comedy with a gender bender twist to it. Nothing outstanding, but a pretty fun read if you want a quick chuckle (and don't mind the gender bender tag).

I'd give it a 7/10 as of now (chapter 6)

This series finished YEARS ago, yet hasn't been updated on this site. Kind of disappointing considering it was actually a fun read.

I just recently returned to this site for reading manga, but what happened with the profiles? There's some new points system and all comments from older accounts say they aren't linked to an account? Could someone explain what major changes have been made on this site the last 7~8 months (roughly, doesn't have to be very detailed)? Thanks in advance!
