Is it just me or does Shirone get more and more eyeliner each chapter?
I just looked back at the first chapters but especially in the third picture of him in the the beginning it seemed especially strong.

Yes, thats why the investigation part is stupid in my eyes. They would open up a huge investigation campaign to thrash against the tang clan, if i remember correctly, they have a pretty bad relation to.
A disowned son, killed by their clan, would be the perfect farcade to label them a public killer, even if that meant fabricating some evidence.

This could be used by the tang clan tho, bc there really was no real poisen at work here, so they would bash this investigation up with more publicity and then frame this clan, for framing and hating them, with the fabricated evidence that they tried to insert.

Missed opportunity, ngl, but that would also mean to drag the story even more to breed out reputation for the mc.

Ah, i just reread Ch. 79 and there it is mentioned that the kindled flame of Light is no longer needed to clear the fog of this staged and the Flame of Live, as @Mango Mango mentione, is Skellis skill.

And does it says its effect is only needed in the first phase?

Bc as far as i understood, the flame illuminates the surrounding area and as his was stolen, he shoudn't be able to see if he's not close to her. But could also just be a shared attribute, but if people can be ifentified by their flames, can he move undetectable by normal means? If he had his own flame still, would the ranked third detect him in his shadow?

Mhm.... Didnt he have a ability which lets him switch place with a spectre when he gets hit? Why does the ability of this Mask seem to trigger later, as we can see blood, instead of his Mystic Art ability?
