A new and refreshing take on isekai that I definitely recommend giving a shot. Only at chapter 25 as of this comment, but I think the story and quality can already justify 8/10 and might even make it higher depending on what happens next.

It would be nice in even a normal manga, this one thats in a first person perspective makes it twice as effective. The chapters where we finally learn what the other characters were thinking and saying are so refreshing.

I think "sneak attack" should be translated as "guerrilla tactics" instead. Since wars of attrition basically means "winning through making the enemy unable to continue the war" rather than through conquest or annihilation. Harassing supply chains is typically a key strategy in attrition warfare.
The other points are valid.

The queen is using "punishment" as an excuse to let Elle leave, which is why she set Elle up for failure. To what end isn't explained yet, but you can kind of call it a necessary evil. Since the fairy queen wouldn't be able to send Elle out under normal circumstances she had to manufacture an excuse.
