I really don't blame you. Only reason I never forgot about it was because I was so thrown for a loop that the fangs we see on Hideyoshi and his sister on some panels throughout all the chapters so far was possibly a design choice that was impactful to the story, not just a random detail. I just thought that was really cool on the mangaka's part.

Just wanted to say, it's been refreshing so far to have a protagonist who makes understandable and realistic decisions if this were actually to happen. For example, he immediately tried to check the electronics and news, unlike some MCs I've seen who just immediately acted like they've prepared for this situation their whole lives. Even thinking about the mortal risks of trying to play hero. You don't really see that in Shounen manga that often anymore.

TLDR: It's a nice change of pace to have an Mc with common sense.
