I think it functions like control inversion in a action RPG, is not that is that efective, it's more of the idea of getting used to.

If a pop up says "atack negated" you swap to magic in a second, but if sudeenly every color invertes dramatically you'd be at a loss for enough time to win.

so last arch was a iseka/fantasy theme story. Now we're into a shonnen/battle tournament theme, they are introducing bunch of new characters with power so each character has someone to fight, but MC teams has devil eye and he's capable of destroying everyone, we also have the ballerina and godzila so they are stacked.

While that is true, as in the real world, people are just following the proper narrative made by the "elites". We've seen the classroom being categorized by 2 sides, those who participate in the abuse and those who ignore it, and that's how mostly it goes, silence and guilt. I've seen the bulling and the awful behavior done unchecked, beng on that side myself, but really in perspective those sort of behavior are nothing but losers who can't get anything out their lives without harming others.
