From what I understood, there is only one novel and it's from the perspective of the blue haired girl (I'm really bad with names), who was the MC of the novel. It seems likely that our current MC didn't appear much in the novel, if at all. The game was an adaptation of the novel where they added Flame as a replacement for the blue haired girl because people didn't like the ending of the original novel, and it's likely that they added the alternate/true endings separately from the canon of the novel, as a sort of expansion of what could have happened in the novel's world. Idk though, I haven't seen anything but this webcomic up until now so I might be wrong, but that's how I've understood it so far
