Yeah but Reiji's theme would be Rent-a-girlfriend even if he's not doing anything groundbreaking in the story itself his set up doing all the work like how most people are more in love with the Pokemon world than the characters in it(they're still loved but not as much). He doesn't need to put us through all of this. Like say we started with Kazuya and Chizaru, then after that story we do one on Ruka her heartbreak over Kazuya and she starts being a rent-a-girlfriend again to feel better about herself and she finds a new love and she may be taking advantage or struggling to get over Kazuya etc... the stories just write themselves and they can constantly build off of each other and characters like Kazuya don't even have to leave the story just change their roles in it.

Dude the premise of Rent-a-girlfriend alone could keep Reiji fed for years. Just do like JoJo's and change the protag every couple of years at this point we could've been on protag 3 or 4 if every story was a hundred or so chapters. Like have you heard some of the real life love stories that have come out of Rent-a-Girlfriends. I was actually shocked.

I don't mind the one true love stuff. There are many real world stories that actually sound like fantasies. My problem is this isn't even a pure romantic love story, Kazuya has been straight up gooning from chapter 1, pooping boners to fantasizing about his love getting railed by other men. I don't know who identifies with Kazuya but seriously if they are there they actually need help. I don't mind if Chizaru is his one true love and he'll only love her it's Reiji is making the journey there agonizing and now he's adding her parental abandonment to this already long story to justify her flakiness with Kazuya. The story is neither realistic or fantasy anymore. That's why I'm saying Reiji you already gave Kazuya your cut, just have him become some ladies man and keep Chizaru pure because fans hate non virgin girls in these stories and just have fun because I don't know soul who finds this fun.

Reiji seriously I'd rather you make Kazuya a self insert ladies man who can now get the ladies because this wishy washy back and forth your doing with his character is even more annoying, 3 girls want him, Ruka as made multpile moves on him. It's not a sin if he sleeps with Ruka. He is not dating Chizaru and he won't even see her for months apparently with no actual verbal promise they'll be a relationship after she's done with her thing. This is not wish fulfillment because who would wish for this. This is actually gonna teach some poor sap that gooning for a girl like this who herself isn't sure on her own feelings for him for years is a good thing, At the very least let Kazuya date Ruka then break up with her.

Well another to the harem I guess. I kinda don't want him to end up with Agawa anymore. The Author really hasn't done a good job with their relationship, The MC has better chemistry with the other girls and everyone seems fine with the polycule.
