Considering he said the ball needs to be stationay while he kicks it, I thought it was obviously he just wouldn't score. In a high intensity match the ball is rarely stationary in a spot that could lead to a shot. I don't see this version of the kick being useful for anything other than a pass maybe because once he's even in his range he's gonna be getting hounded and the ball probably won't be able to stop. Even Isagi could land his direct shot on a moving ball. Would've been different if he couldn't.
