This reminds me of people that come up to you when you are reading a book and ask what you doing or something like that. They don't like to read so they stop anyone else from reading because to them reading is dull so I think they believe they are helping by stopping any one that is reading. This girl is there only to interrupt, she has parents that read, but she does not ask them, she comes to stop progress and get closer to a boy that is minding his own business. I know the writer is going for plot development but to a person that loves to read this sort of thing just pisses me off. She got mad because he let go of her hand, if her parents had seen that it probably would have meant they had to marry and she would have loved that, he might not have, but she did not care about that, just wanted his attention taken from those pesky books. She got that " look at me " syndrome.
