I still find it hard to love the mother after all this time exactly for this reason. The mother hurt her daughter so badly that she has abandonment issues along with a lot of other problems. The mother is doing a great job now but the scars run deep within the little one.

I mean he did work hard, but did he work hard enough to achieve the rank that most demons in the demon world never even get to achieve? Think about it this way, just to get into med school you have to dedicate UNGODLY amounts of time and effort just to get accepted into the program. Then once you get accepted you have to live, eat, and breath your studies until school is over. In Iruma's case, if he is wanting to achieve a higher rank he is going to need to do more than winning a festival competition for making a haunted house. This is me thinking logically about this, but I was pretty pissed when they first told him that he wasn't allowed to rank up automatically.
