Damn that was a really beautiful story

Damn this whole chapter gave a sense of ominous feeling. Frieren isn't acting normal and it isn't because of some fake purchase.

I thought this series was dropped?

When the MC said "split up and go our separate ways" it had a bloodied background. To me, it could mean rounding up all the bad guys wreaking havoc on the town and killing them, it could mean the MC is deciding to go on a journey alone after this conflict, or it could mean that he's giving the grandpas a separate mission entirely. I know it is likely to be the first option I stated but this is a story and you never know when a koala is going to be introduced.

That last statement sounded really open-ended.

I bet you five large eggs that the snake will talk. "I am the protector of this treasury, if you want the goods you have to cut open my guts" Or something along those lines

Her main job is to transport, which she has done really well. You can't fault a fish for being bad at climbing!

She was staying there with the intention of helping Bam in case he had to be teleported away. I don't fault her too much considering these are some of the strongest beings in the tower and Bam's group knew that heading into the fight. I would be more pissed if any of Bam's weaker friends just abandoned him without trying to give some kind of support.
