I don't think you get how powerful Jaehwan is at the end of the series (and during their small exchange it's specified that OD entered Jaehwan's world, specified to be his world and not OD's machinations so while OD is the god of ORV, Jaehwan is the god if his world) but imma not continue this and just go on leaving an upvote if it helps ya, enjoy!

It's a pretty major SPOILER so read with caution (writing in big in case other ppl didn't see): The Oldest Dream is the beginning of ''everything''. He is the omnipotent and omniscient (reader) one who dreams about everything that happened, happens and will happen in the Star Stream. To put it simply, he is THE GOD of ORV/Ways of Survival. He is the single strongest being there is in ORV. The sponsor of Yoo Joonghyuk. He is also knows as Kim Dokja (his form is that of kid Kim Dokja)

While I don't doubt OD's ability to erase characters, there is a limit to it! His world is the only world he can truly affect in regards of erasing a character or their attributes. Especially when it comes to Jaehwan, he is an individual outside the world at eos. While I don't see Jaehwan ending OD, there is also no clear win con for OD against Jaehwan! He ascended to the same plane of existence as OD but for his world.

Is it on purpose or perhaps... In any case, it's not actually right. OD eos and Jaehwan eos actually had a short confrontation and they were basically on the same level BUT it was unclear if Jaehwan was giving his all (probably not) and the Older Dream was heavily nerfed mentally during that light altercation! Soooo, no OD can't just erase him coz they are basically on the same plane of existence at eos (and no Jaehwan isn't part of the ''verse'' of ORV which OD rules over, it's more they are both part of the bigger picture or ''verse'' if you want
