And you have no good arguments. Everything you said had nothing backing it up and was worthless. You got angry as soon as I poked holes in your argument and are now trying to back off because you know you messed up and can't save face.

Okay. So why do the people in the settlement have to surrender? They are armed and there is only a small group of demi-humans.

Yea. You have no counter points left. Let's say someone walks up to your house and demands that you let them take your house and capture you and everyone in the house. You only have 30 seconds to decide. You would just agree and give them everything without a fight?

Who could this mr.black knight be? I have no clue, nope not a single one. And why would he have a high pitch voice, could he just be a kid? Guess we will never know.

Okay. Let's look at it from a tactical standpoint like you said earlier. It would be better to fight and at least try to prevent the enemy from getting another bargaining chip against more people. Surrendering and being a prisonior means the enemy has more leverage and can target more things. Also you won't blindly believe rumors but you would blindly believe an enemy that is threatening you, what if it's a bluff? You surrender and find out it was a small group you could have easily beaten? Or they lied and now you are being used against the people you are trying to protect. If you trust the enemy more than yourself, then you shouldn't be in a position of power. Also if long range communication was so readily available then why is MC using radios? It exists but is probably hard to use or not avaliable in some places. You should work on your critical thinking skills because you seem to be really lacking those, it's concerning that with a lack of information you assumed that you would know all that about the enemy and would just roll over without a fight. Your anwer to the situation only makes some sense if you knew every detail about the demi-humans and what happened, but it was never stated that they knew, it's only an assumption you made, sure if it comes out later that the guards knew everything then surrendering to save some people makes sense, but now they are gonna be used against other settlements. Also you are coming into this as a reader so you already have a bias because you know all the information and are desperately trying to make it sound like people in that settlement also have the info. Although it wouldn't matter you would be a grunt in these situations anyways like 99% of people.

The most important part is that it's censored so it didn't even matter.

So you choose the roll over and die option. Someone who you have only heard bad things about shows up and demands you surrender, and gives you 30 seconds to decided. You also keep saying that the church knows about what they can do, but never have you said anything about telling the settlements. The higher ups know but what about the people near the front lines? Also most of the people lured into the fort got killed, the ones that survived didn't give much information. You are thinking of it like you are some high rank person that's far away from the problem, not from the point of a person on the ground at the settlement being threatened to trust an enemy or fight back.

You are only saying that because you are a reader and have all the information. Do you think the people know what kinds of weapons they have? A group just shows up and demands that everyone surrenders and tells you to "trust me bro." The fort was destroyed and almost no one survived so they don't even know what happened, just that they mercilessly killed everyone. If a random group that you have only heard bad things about shows up and tells you to surrender and to trust them, would you do it.

Would you trust someone who wiped out a whole fort to be fair if you surrender to them?

Did you read the previous chapter or skip it? They also laid out the 6 stage plan in this chapter, or did you skip over that too? They did change resources to wealth in the image though so maybe that confused you. They also guessed that the new Venus project has the same goal as the old one except they are skipping the cure part, and are choosing to just eliminate everyone that's infected to speed it up.

So the Venus project was to fulfill people's desires but one of the problems that got in the way was there's too many people that want things, so there wasn't enough recourses. Well let's get rid of most of the people. So yea I guess it's different from Thanos, instead of culling 50% they are getting rid of about 85%. And instead of saving resources they are making sure there is enough resources for the remaining people.

They have spent 15 chapters preparing for this date. I'm gonna guess they are gonna spend another 10ish more and he is gonna have 2 or 3 more mock dates with other girls first. Then maybe some drama happens.
