One day when running to High-school (2nd year) Mimika spotted a young girl playing with a cat. The young girl instantly captivated her, so she approached her and in panic stated that she was not a suspicious person. The young girl ran away.

Later Mimika noticed that she dropped her wallet and went looking for it. The young girl sees this and helps her look for it. So begins Mimika's friendship with a elementary school girl (4th year).

A samurai manga about a boy named Zan. Zan's father was a legendary swordsman who used a sword which had no blade (think Sakabatou from Ruroken). Zan's father died one day, and ever since, Zan has wanted to follow in his fathers footsteps.

The manga starts off with Zan being transfered to a new high school in his second year. When pushed, Zan somehow becomes super strong and has incredible sword technique that allows him to beat his enemies.

Ichiyo and Akehiko (both 15 years old) have been brought up in an amicable environment at a prosperous restaurant in Japan. They live a safe, happy life, but, as was the norm in feudal Japan, they train at the local dojo with determination to become strong. The times are turbulent, and violence brims the streets of nineteenth century Japan. Out of nowhere, 99 girls were sent to a large room, where they are inadvertently transferred to the other side of the screen. There, strange creatures live, which begin to hunt the girls who cross the monitor.

• Cruel Fairytales (title story) -
When they were young, a brother and sister ran away from home and went into the forest only to find an unexpected gruesome scene. Both siblings were traumatized and the younger sister ran away. Years have passed and now the older brother is searching for his still-missing sister. Many young girls come, but only turn out to be impostors after his wealth. One of the latest girls to arrive suspects foul play when the two girls she arrived with go missing and are later found dead. What's really going on here? Is she the next victim? Will the sister ever be found?

Jeremy, a sensitive but outgoing 17 year old, is delighted to hear the news of his neurotic and excitable mother's remarriage to a wealthy British man. However, much to his horror, his sweet-talking new step-father Greg, soon begins to exhibit a disturbing trait...he is a sadistic pedophile and loses no time in making Jeremy his target. Months of horrific, systematic abuse drives Jeremy to desperation; he sabotages his step-father's car with the hope of eliminating him. The resulting accident, however, kills his mother along with Greg.
Jeremy's shocked and guilt-stricken behaviour arouses the suspicions of Greg's free-spirited son, Ian. He unearths enough evidence to tie his step-brother to the crime; but in doing so, also discovers the details of Greg's sexual abuse of Jeremy.

Story 1: Suou Hatasu is a nice guy with a pretty normal life. Like most college students, he's living alone in a little shoebox apartment and commutes on-foot. In spite of his financial limitations, he's fairly satified with his life: he's got a good friend, a cute girlfriend and is just starting his first student-teaching job at an area high school.

Things only seem to be getting better for him when one of his students, handsome and fabulously wealthy Harashima Daichi, seems to take a shine to him. Immediately feeling welcomed to his new school, Suou couldn't really ask for more. Until his new "buddy" Harashima suddenly turns on him in a deserted hallway and vows to make Suou "his property".

Can money really buy love? Harashima certainly seems to think so...

Story 2: Three childhood friends, Yoshito, Sei and Daisuke, come to a crossroads in their relationship when Yoshito announces he's getting married. Sei's composure crumbles and he admits to having loved Yoshito since Middle School.
