This is different from the web novel. In that one, they sent the kid away from the final battle and after they defeated the octopus, they all ran away from the blue and got on a ship that he prepared for them. To be honest I think I like this ending better
Damn didn't expect a random FF14 reference over here outa the blue.
Been out of the game since base endwalker, havent done 6.1+ how was the post patch/7.0 content? have heard the new expansion is kinda mid... likely due to yoshi-p being diverted to FF16 if I were to bet.
haven't played since the start of 7.0 but the patches after were fun for raids and nostalgia. I also heard the new expansion was mid and just didn't get much better due to it focusing more on the new npc which people hated.
I kind of get why they did that, since its hard to "soft reset" the warrior of light.
Not sure why we couldn't have just gone to the "new world" solo, as a "no body" "unknown" and build up our "renown" a new and gradually bring back O.G. characters from the "old world"
Would have been a better way to handle it IMO. Not sure how the tone is exactly, but with estinien, ghraha and gang still hanging around the WoL and fan boi'n" imagine its hard to divorce "our" character from past achievements which from what I understand 7.0 was meant to be a nice jump on point for those new to the game, given the daunting TEN FUCKING YEAR story that 1.0-6.0 encompassed.
Was really interested in the new class since I imagine it was going to finally eat ninja's lunch (share gear since ninja was the only class that had left side gear all to itself) especially since I have been at odds with ninja since they introduced "Ten-Chi-Jin" (or w/e the one was called in Storm Blood)
In SB it took all your ninki meter in addition to having like a 2? min cool down, which IN OF ITSELF is fine, but the whole FORCING YOU TO BE STATIONARY got me hit so fucking much trying to use that damn ability or forced me to cancel thus wasting ninki/cool down. Killed the vibe and play style, ninja's whole thing was mobile half caster melee/utility (trick attack) didn't want to cosplay BLM every 2 god damn min.
Think in ShB they took away the ninki cost and lowered the CD but still would plant you in place to use it. EW they added a bunch of new shit to ninja (like 2-3 things/modifications to things from before) but really just felt chaotic at that point, couldn't really nail down how the rotation was meant to play out TBH, just left me fustrated and ultimately killed my will to keep playing after beating 6.0
While I was satisfied with the overall 6.0 ending (feel free to spoil me what 6.1+ added) I felt disappointed with the ultima thule fake outs. Considering how fast the scions were dropping to build the bridge, it was obvious that this wasn't gonna stick, which kinda ruined the impact of that part of the story for me IMO.
To a degree EW felt like it should have been 2 expansions almost... or IDK the "unraveling of the fabric of reality" story just kind of... IDK felt out of nowhere, like tsukiyomi-hime arc after nartuto/sasuke defeated madara. Not even sure how I feel about the fact that we time traveled AGAIN in EW too. Though... I think technically we weren't supposed to interact with the past that time but some how emet-selch / his friend (name excapes me atm) sensed us?
ANYWAYS, my favorite expansion will probably always be ShB, managed to convey so much hopelessness and defeat for most of the first half of the story, along side of so much triumph and hope as you gradually save their dying world.
I don't think Bahamut is a colossi, it was mention by Setsuna of the bygone days first for them to seek it if they want to know the truth of the world and then Ctarnidd mentioned it again, its like Bahamut is the final boss of some sort in which at some point the colossi fought in the past, beside it doesn't fit in any of the silhouette, among the top four we alr discovered Weathermon, Lycagon, Siegwurm and Ctarnidd, there was a mention of Orchestra of Doom Echo which based on the name, who knows what its shape gonna be, the other is an Echidna and a serpent looking Leviathan Bahamut is a fish which often depicted as western dragon but ofc not closing the possibility, small chance it could also be the serpent looking colossi and the final in order to beat but I highly doubt it
the Last ArchmageThe optimistic side of me is hoping for a 3v1 battle against Viernes, but I'm never that lucky, so this could go wrong for Gray and Wendy.
ArbozaliyanIt does not matter. It is another form of crime to hit someone. Planning and doing is another crime. Failing is not favorable, in reality killing would have been better
TheMusicBoxManRed flag, red flag, RED FLAG! Trust me, from personal experience, you do NOT want to get into a relationship with a controlling girlfriend.
