This series follows the life of Sakaki Mirei as she works with the theatrical company Narazumono.

Three girls on the verge of finishing high school: each contemplating their childhood dreams and aspirations. As they face this time of emotional turmoil and self-doubt, samples of embroidery from different places and times echo with the life stories of those who created them.

These girls' stories, past and present, intertwine as if woven by thread.

In the spiritual land of Kunisaki, Highschool freshman Nonoka Kibe runs a consultation office for the supernatural. As the only one who can see them, her goal is to aid in any way she can, along with her oni friend, Chibiki, and her Yamaha TownMate.

Miya knows she was found abandoned at a shrine and adopted by her current parents. Though she lives a happy life now, her birthright comes calling on her one day in the oddest of fashions.

Note: These oneshots ran in different magazines categorized as josei, seinen, or shoujo. The majority of them were josei, hence the demographic of the series.

In this story set in the early 1980s, a young man dreams of becoming a renowned comic writer in years to come. His name is HONOO Moyuru. He has no money, only a dream. Then, he feels overwhelmed by his lack of ability, and buys some sake, although he has no head or stomach for alcohol. This is a tortured elegy for any dashing young art student who spends his days careening around in burning ambition. Note: Was nominated for the 3rd Manga Taisho Award in 2010 and for the 19th Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize in 2015. 

From Stage Storm:
Seiko is a normal girl with a tendency for daydreaming, and Yoshito's a fairly sensitive, subdued boy. They've been close friends since grade school, and now that they're in high school, their feelings for each other become complicated. Though all of the diverse array of characters in the story seem to see it as plain as day, Seiko does not realize Yoshito would like to be more than friends.

From Wasurenagusa:

As a child Tanabe was always tagging behind Haruyama, but in high-school after he became a ping-pong ace their relationship is gradually getting worse. Who is the one tagging along for real and why is Tanabe always so quiet? A touching and yet funny story with ping-pong as its background.

This volume also contains a one-shot about one very interesting hairdresser and a two-chapter story about a dentist and his fated client.

A series of rather comedic stories about an eponymous bar, its owner, two regular patrons, and the oddballs that stroll through its doors.
