Kokuryuu Kaguya was only a little boy when he witnessed his father murdered by demons. He spent years trying to convince people about what he witnessed, but was dismissed as a traumatized child with an over-active imagination. Now a teenager, Kaguya still remembers what happened.

One day, Kaguya is struck by a mysterious light and meets a young girl named Mao—a skillful warrior wearing bunny ears—who rescues him from a demons' attack, then demands to know what planet he's from! Kaguya finds himself inducted into a secret organization of other-worldly individuals whose goal is to defend Earth from monstrous invaders. Gakuen Heaven is the story of Oshino Makoto in his attempt to become a teacher, in order to fulfill a promise made to his childhood friend and first love Koiwai Ayano, who also promised that when they see each other again they will get married. Unfortunately, he fails miserably and ends up as a substitute teacher in an all-girls private school governed by his grandmother. He meets a lot of female students there, especially Narusawa Tsugum; as well as a teacher who resembles his long lost first love, Asagiri Ayano. He even becomes the love interest of the substitute principal, his cousin Kyoko.

Kadokura is the student council president. His father, who is the coach of the track and field club, allows various members of the track club to board in his home, an event that causes alot of stress for his son. One main source of stress is the ace Kima, who has a huge ego and constantly bothers Kadokura. While Kadokura has to deal with this until he graduates and leaves the house, suddenly, one day, Kima kisses him. Consequently, Kima begins to kiss and touch Kadokura, but Kadokura has no idea why. It looks like if things keep up this way, Kadokura might start thinking that Kima likes him...

Noboru Takizawa is your normal student. However upon being transferred to a new school the first thing that happens is that he steps on a land mine! From that point on, he fights against the hall monitor and gets past him. In the turmoil of it all, he meets the lovely Yukari and befriends her. Later on, he meets Ibuki, who later becomes his rival to win Yukari's heart.

It turns out that the school Takizawa has transferred to is trying to tyrannize the students of the class he's entered. It is now his job to try and help them out and keep their class! He does this by trying his best in showing the class has potential in a sports festival at the school. Meanwhile in the background, Takizawa's father is setting the teacher's straight and making them stop their evil ways.

The basic plot is that Takizawa transfers to schools where the teachers have messed up methods to deal with students, or schools where there are obscure and crazy rules. His father accompanies him and pretends to be one of the teachers to try and sneak up on the evil or corrupt teachers and end their tyranny.

Kenji Sakuragi is a poor lawyer and ex-motorcycle gang member looking for an opportunity to boost his career. His chance finally comes with the nearly bankrupt and notorious Ryuuzan High School, referred to as "baka gakkou" (stupid school) by some. There, he sets up a special class that aims to prepare students to take and pass the entrance exam of Toudai.
