Mayu and Nobu have been best friends ever since they were kids, always the best buddies. But the friendship does not only include these two boys, along them is the other childhood friend, the introverted Yuiko who always has been some sort of damsel who the boys have always helped. Upon entering high school the trio meets the grandchild of the chairman, the student council president nicknamed "The Rooftop Princess" and who is considered a perfect girl in every sense.

Yuiko gets into trouble with a skirt chaser and the Rooftop Princess helps her out without asking anything in return, Yuiko quickly develops a strong admiration for the princess and from that point on Mayu will also admire the Princess but in a completely different way than Yuiko.

These four people will be the center of a lovely high-school romance drama with hints of a tragic past.

Yuusuke used to spend summers in the countryside with his favourite uncle, Toshiya, at their family home. Five years later, Yuusuke returns to the countryside and learns the reason Toshiya was recently let go from his job.

Tsukamoto picks up Hirochika outside of a convenience store and they begin to have sex casually. One day, Tsukamoto shows Hirochika a photo album of his first love. It troubles Hirochika so much that he seeks out his ex-girlfriend’s opinion on the matter and she tells him, “the deeper you fall for someone, the more painful it gets.”

On a cold winter day, when Ikewaki Kou, a college student, forgot his key and couldn't enter his apartment, he was invited into his neighbour, Shiraishi Hiroya's room. But the room was so dirty that there wasn't even space for him to put his foot down, and Kou was really shocked by this gap from his neighbour's orderly image. Even so, Kou remembers the steady palpitation of his heart as he conversed with the bashful and unaffected Shiraishi. Things got heated when Kou realised that Shiraishi might like his brother instead.
