A nameless high school dropout teenager turns into an assassin for hire. He is a complete loner who uses his knife to kill his targets without any emotion or hesitation. He kills anyone who gets in his way whether they be a complete stranger or even the client that hired him in the first place. He meets a man named Iwanishi after one of his jobs goes bad. Iwanishi nicknames him Semi (Cicada) because he apparently talks too much and offers to become his manager, handling the business side of assassination. But it seems like Iwanishi has some secret agenda Semi isn’t aware of.

Sakura Hayato is a fairly normal high-school student. Except for one thing: ghosts are attracted to him.

On his 17th birthday, as his ghost problem reaches a peak, he encounters a sly-looking blond man in fancy black garb who introduces himself as "Undertaker Riddle." Riddle offers to help Hayato with his ghost problem on the condition that Hayato become his partner in the undertaking business, which is responsible for sending earthbound spirits to their destined place of final rest by way of a special funeral service. Though he initially refuses the suspicious proposition, circumstances soon come to pass where Hayato has to either accept a soul bond with Riddle... Or lose his life.

Somewhere in Tokyo, there is a room. In that room is a black sphere. Periodically, people who should otherwise have died are transferred to the room. There, the sphere gives them special suits and weapons and sends them out on a mission to kill aliens here on Earth. Shou, the older brother, and Saya, the litlle sister, only have each other. The two of them lived happily, enjoying their peaceful lives together. That is, until Saya was bitten.

When bitten by a pure-blooded vampire, the one who was bitten may themself become a vampire, as was the case with Saya. She can't leave the house out of fear that she will feast, and her brother must lock her away to protect her from vampire hunters, such as himself. The only solace she has is being taken care of by her beloved older brother, whom she knows has eyes only for her, and vice-versa.

And so, Shou has made it his goal to kill the pure-blooded vampire who bit his sister, believing that in doing so he may restore his sister to what she once was, and becomes an expert for that. But since Saya was bitten, she has become increasingly obsessed and forceful. She can't stand being mere siblings anymore, and Shou is having a hard time holding back.

Will Shou give in? Or will he kill the pure-blooded vampire first? And even if he does, will that be enough to stop the romance forming between the two of them?

With a group of four along with her cousin Riku who can't handle transportation, her little brother Takashi who likes mystery and her brother's girlfriend Natsuki, the group join the event, meeting suspicious people and witnessing unexplainable occurences. Can they find the treasure? Is there any hidden agenda from the hotel owner by making such an event?
