Based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula", a gothic horror story at the end of the 19th century.

In a little town near Osaka, an old tradition is being perpetuated. Every year, for hundreds of years, the men of the town defy each other in the “grand ceremony of Masuraou”. Their weapons? Their courage and their fists! Their goals? Becoming the king of the town!

It's in this atmosphere that Takeshi Yamato, a young high schooler from Tokyo, moves in. Ex-gang leader decorated with an incredible secret, he is decided to forget the past and become a socially acceptable guy... However, between his secret being found out, the fights, the girls and the messing up with his friends, he is far from becoming a model high schooler!

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Louvre's comic collection, a series of international exhibitions has been scheduled. The Taipei MoNTUE Museum, followed by the Tainan Cultural Center, inaugurated the Taiwanese part of this major retrospective by exhibiting more than two hundred original plates, preparatory drawings and video installations. Then, between August 2016 and September 2017, the exhibition follows a traveling tour through Japan, starting with the Mori Arts Center Gallery in Tokyo. At each stage of the exhibition, Taiwanese and then Japanese artists were invited to participate in this project. It is their work that we reproduce here. Their personal looks, their original cultures and their singular expressions send back new images of the Louvre,

The eve of the French revolution, 1772:
The eldest brother of the Sanson family, Charles-Henri, has grown as an executioner, while his sister Marie-Joseph has been living freely in the Versailles. But then Marie-Joseph's first love, a man named Alain, is killed by aristocrats. The histories of innocents plunges into the arc of the crimson revolution, Rouge.

On his first day of transferring to a new high school, a loner named Mori Buntarou, is cajoled by a classmate into climbing the school building. Despite knowing that one misstep could send him spiraling to his death, he moves forward, and upon finally reaching the top, Mori experiences a sense of fulfillment. That feeling, which seems to be telling him, "You're alive!" gives birth to an adrenaline for rock-climbing.

The manga won an Excellence Prize in the manga division at the 2010 Japan Media Arts Festival. It also won Best Seinen Manga at the 2011 Prix Mangawa Awards.

In the 18th century, seeking "freedom and equality", the event that became the starting point of modern French society, the French Revolution, began. There was one more protagonist that lived within the darkness, Henry Charles Sanson. He was the fourth generation family head of the Sanson Family, and executioner of Paris.
This is the historie of him nobly facing the harsh fate.
