This story begins when the protagonist, a boy named Sora Akizuki, confesses his love to Miya Fuwa, a girl he has been in love with for a long time, and is rejected. When Sora learns that Miya likes someone else, he visits the dubious “Trialing Club," of which he is president, and tries to find out if he is the right person for her. The first episode shows the reality of the Trialing Club, whose activities one cannot imagine from its name, and the reason why its president, Suzukaze, created the club.

The story centers on an ordinary high school boy named Keita Amano. His hobby is video games, but apart from that, he has no conspicuous traits, and has never been in love. As Keita continues his gaming life, he suddenly becomes involved with Tendou Karen, the most beautiful girl at school and the president of the school's video game club. She shocks Keita when she asks him to join the video game club.

Watch how their relationship evolves and becomes more complicated, especially when other gamers come into the picture, creating all sorts of misunderstandings and drama.

Since good looking girls are admired by both sexes, unlike boys, the student council room became known as paradise. As the pillar of the student council, Sugisaki Ken seeks to create his own bishoujo harem due to his love of girls.

The characters from both Haganai and Seitokai no Ichizon visit each others' clubroom in this two-part crossover.
