Manhwas aren't much longer. it just seems that way because of how the long pages are drawn. Also depending on who the publisher is Japanese manga has to follow a certain release schedule. Some weekly, monthly, bi-monthly, and so on. That and the fact that it takes more effort to draw a manga than it does to draw a manhwa in the webtoon style.

Instead of just attacking the people or person directly, they attacked the planet itself which helps them avoid direct contact with mc.

I thought it was a story based in a game with no real impact in the real world. I'm so glad that I was wrong. I don't like those type of stories.
