1 its either they help him and maybe die with him or they leave him and live so as young people do he was afraid and choose his own life like all the people in the incident
2 no do you know how hard it is to find a dead body in a fallen building compare that to whole fucking mountain mate that would be too damn hard and need lots of resources and neither mount Hua sect nor the other parties were willing to do that so yeah no
3 its not funny i actually like that he really regrets what happened and acknowledge that he mad the wrong decision then

when the fight starts murim people just fight they done care about when or where or who will get damaged becasuse of the fight
