I don't think I've read a manga where the MC tried to 'understand' the holy sword. They're either automatically worthy of using it, or the side character that they're fostering is able to use it. It's a nice change.

Idk what other kind of girlfriends the author has planned, but fingers crossed for a tattooed muscle mommy. (Not that that's my type or anything. I just think it'd be a very unique character that could bring a lot to the story. Not that that's my type or anything.)

It just feels a little corny to me. There's cold blooded heroes that are devoid of emotion, a dragon, a prodigy magician, and yet this Disney villain king keeps slipping away while singing and clicking his heels together. Just seems like with how unbalanced the power scales are, it shouldn't take this long to get rid of the king. But I guess there's a new overpowered robot thing that the doofy king magically got his hands on. I just hope this part doesn't drag on for too long.
