But fr, for me it's the fact that those two are slowly getting close to each other. Early fern would've never offered stark a place under that blanket. Seeing all that progression starting from the initial meeting, the birthdays, the dance, the date and other stuff. It's not really that obvious maybe (or maybe I'm just straight up wrong) but their opinions of each other are definitely changing and that really tickles my romance brain. + Being on a journey with a person the same age (I think I can't remember (also except frieren lmfao)) is bound to pique some interest in them right? If not, cool they're still getting closer, but if it somehow does bloom into romance then all the more rewarding
Tl;Dr: boy and girl on a journey together while getting closer to each other is cute (personal opinion)
