The ending is better if we assume she's dead and the caller is Takt or her mum. Otherwise all these chapters would have been pointless and all the fucked up shit they did to Riku was meaningless.

I agree with you, I don't agree with the person saying the author messed up by doing this, sometimes it's important to write about people making the wrong choices and the consequences / redemption that come with it.

Sometimes people don't move on that easily, I don't think this is bad development but she is going in the wrong direction

Also didn't we have the whole "Pochita on his own cannot take down death and prevent the prophecy so we'll give Denji nudes so he lets himself become a weapon and then War can wield him instead" so what was that all about? Pochita just sucker punched death and ate her within 3 panels why was everyone so afraid.

Wouldn't the erasure of death also make war weaker? The scariest part of war is everyone and everything dying from it. Also Yoru wanted to get rid of death eventually but I think she was planning to get Pochita out / into a weapon first cause now the dawg is even more deathless and fully in control so he can just wreck her ass

I will say, reading it weekly had me extremely confused for like a year and i could barely remember what happened 2 chapters ago. But i watched the movie last week and reread all of part 2 and it's actually pretty coherent. Everything in part 2 revolves around the prophecy of death devil and different "sides" have different interpretations of how to deal with it which drives the actions. Asa and Denji are in a weird vibing phase rn but Pochita choosing to save Asa at possibly the cost of the world is plot progression in my opinion. It's just that the last many chapters took place within a few days which is why it feels so slow.
