Isekai mangaka just have this obsession with slaves. "I don't trust myself not to hurt him" feels like forced writing so she would become a slave, even though in reality nobody would want to lose their freedom AGAIN.

Could be something like date Kannai -> break up because of the housekeeper situation and jealousy -> date Yoshino. But they're so scared of writing about breakups in shounen manga it's crazy
