I never commented about this series apparently, but with the end coming soon because the current volume being translated is the final one, I'd like to highly recommend this series to anyone passing by. Solid 8/10

What I mean is that it doesn't explain what battlefield or what side. If it is literally the battlefield he was previously on, it could be to prevent it instead. He wouldn't be reverting to anything, he would be fighting to protect those close to him.
