Maybe they had a contract with a dragon and somehow they broke that contract making them go into a dragon like state? You can tell their eyes are much like the previous dragon we've seen when he uses his dragon powers.

Anyway I saw some people in the comments before say that you don't need to read The Epic Of Gilgamesh before this? I completely disagree.

I wonder why that blonde girl keeps saying, "so this is what it means to be a knight" , she's been like that since The Epic Of Gilgamesh. I wonder if it'll have some meaning in the future or just a recurring joke? Also to note, she seemed to high respect Knights in Gilgamesh and knew a knight named Tink, I think that's his weapon she's holding?

I'm definitely going to regret reading this now instead of letting the chapters build up more.

That's probably a dragon at the end. If you've read The Epic Of Gilgamesh, you would know those of the eastern continent know that dragons exist and often trick and manipulate them.

I feel bad for the people that didn't read Gilgamesh before this, I'm surprised it isn't mentioned much in the front page! The Epic Of Gilgamesh is literally a prequel to this! The white haired guy appeared in it!
