i really enjoyed this one. was looking for an action romance but found a fun action comedy with a romantic subtext***.
A LOT of generously proportioned fan service throughout the entire read so be prepared for that. the mc is one of the optimistic types that starts off as a normal everyday dude but gradually gets stronger through willpower and “courage” (very similar to kenichi but with quicker growth and less headache which was a relief). i read 100 chapters of this then 100 of strongest disciple kenichi and loved this one a lot more if we’re comparing that much. FL is a badass bussy kuudere type but i’m super biased towards her so idk (kuudere supremecy). as far as villains go and how the situations are handled, it gets very power of friendship type of stuff towards the end and that might be what affects the mal score so much but it isn’t bad for the larger part of the story. the fights were all pretty sick, well drawn and ofc loaded with service. lol.

also shout out to the scanlator silasronald for keeping the quality top notch. whata legend 👏

i guess i’m happy with the ending but i wish there was something more concrete between ayame and eito at the end. no confession or making it official or anything 😔
