you are right well it seems pointless to me to add some kind of hope for romance in this anime because there is actually no need for it
the author can always make a sudden chapter about their life after their journey is over that stark and fern marry each other or each decided to go their own way and settle down somewhere
personally I don't really think they can be a great couple their relationship is more like two 10 years kids travelling with each other playing friends both stark and fern seems unmatured to me the way they act i believe
if the author made this manga based on mixture of medival and modern era type of thinking it would kinda makes sense with people having deep sense of knowledge and wisdom starting from middle age while adding a little bit sense of humor with no going into detail too much about their character

those 18 pages were like 50 pages to me damm

well about that adding female for stark the author just sucks at making pointless talks probably that's the reason there wasn't any other talk except about frieren in manga/anime all kinds of shits happen which doesn't even make sense in real life making random talks in manga creation is probably like making excuses or something to me mann i feel like my English grammar is getting bad recently

well fern is traveling with frieren from a very young age she only has memories of heiter or frieren as i said their world is different it's a medival era manga type the author probably is a old guy i wouldn't blame you or anyone for this it's just they are written this way as long as stark doesn't have any problem with her it's alright and it's not like she is talking about a man in a date with stark it would definitely be awkward plus do you think finding another girl and getting close to her suddenly is really easy or something considering how insensitive to feelings stark actually is, he could easily be fooled by women sometimes when I said this manga i feel like something has been missing when reading btw pages their journey in a town or city is too short considering they are staying in each place for months or even a whole year

this manhwa is trash there is grammar mistakes the story is very bad and has multiple flaws the main character is stupid and very plain looking and this anime also shows incorrect medical things like bringing the dead person back to life which has died like days ago using medical knowledge the most annoying thing I found is that the saintass who searched like the whole world to find the mc end up famed as a villain she brought few soldiers with her to kill powerful monsters in the elf forest but everyone start saying they brought a large army to destroy elf village and take back saint she fvkin explained to that stubborn Fia elf girl that she is just here to talk to saint and take him to empire but she was stuck on one thing that empire is declaring war on elf i meant wtff why would they do that they just want to see the saint they injured multiple soldiers of saintass even killed few of her soldiers but saintass just immobilized her by dislocating her shoulders and giving her some non vital wounds in self defence but then some high elf comes and start saying that she will destroy the whole holy empire of gød by just moving a finger the mc also comes showing pity on that stubborn elf girl and everyone just blames saintass and everyone forgets that elf girl Fia killed her soldiers too
