Pretty sure this is an axe. From what I know about manga, the last 3 chapters of a manga are usually the telltale signs if it's a planned ending or an axed ending, usually if the last 3 chapters are very rushed and fast paced, it means that it's already on the cutting block and the publishers forced it to end.
