Speaking of new comics, you struck me as the kind of guy who wouldn't like to read this old manga called "Emperor and I". It's a slow read like sunday morning slow but not a lot of chapters. eventho i said that it never leaves my mind. It's a very endearing manga to me. i'm not asking you to try it, i'm just voicing my thoughts and hoping that someday you would want to read it.
