The Everyday Maintenance of Shinozaki-kun

Description

Shinozaki is just an ordinary, everyday office worker burdened by the very normal worry that he might be a bit "off his head."

One day, he's approached by a strange woman named Yuuyake who proceeds to explain that her magician grandmother had long ago enchanted his body… causing him to have a lot of internal machinery?! Apparently, he has to start receiving regular maintenance to stop himself from falling apart…

With that, the slightly wobbly magical remodeling life featuring the very ordinary salaryman Shinozaki and the enigmatic magician Yuuyake abruptly begins.

seeing how gods can change one's gender at will, i'm gonna play it safe and assume that not all of them are originally women.

And somehow Case Closed anime hasn't Closed it's doors yet Jimmy is still pint sized and the original story possibly lost by now, it was up until like 130 something i was still watching but goodness me the English dubbing was stopped so i worried about picking it back up in subtitles and watching it further not knowing if he'll ever return to proper size and for him and Rachel to ever properly have their romance blossom fully and their lives go further together.

But it is interesting when fantasy elements follow a system of logic unique to the scenario.

If a world has Dungeons, why does it have them? What are the social and economic consequences of it?

If you have a group of people like dwarves, how are their values different from humans based on where they live? How do they produce food and survive in underground caverns? Perhaps they created an alcohol unique to their people because the only thing they had were these glowing algae and mushrooms. They all wear clothes made of silk, not because it is fancy, but because cave worms were the only source of fibers they had.

I like one particular story where every single adventurer when they were out and about wore a mask because it was just best practices.

Another story had the world's entire economy based around Dungeons where most people didn't even actually explore them. They were just used as an unlimited hunting ground for the purpose of food, making meat cheaper than grain.

So if mermaids are going to steal from ships, what exactly do they expect to be on the ships to make it worth their while, and why is it that stuff is valuable to them?

PS: I think most people in the olden times assumed that if supernatural beings attacked your ship, its because they wanted to eat you, not because they wanted your shinies.

Even dragons hording gold isn't actually dragons. That's because in Norse Myth, a greedy dwarf was transformed into a dragon by cursed gold.
